    always need to reinstall

    To all:

    I am using the most recent release of NT 6.5. I download the file, install the application, connect to real time data throught IB, can sim trade and chart with no problems.

    However, if i do not use the program for several days, upon returning to it, it begins the installation again and looks for "tmp93.tmp". I have to then uninstall and reinstall once again.

    The procedure seems straight forward...what am I doing wrong?

    Hi,

    Please use the instructions provided to resolve this inquiry. Disable all firewall and anti-virus software before using the provided directions.



    Use the instructions below to accomplish a successful download of the NinjaTrader application.
    • Within your web browser (Internet Explorer for most users) select the menu Tools > Internet Options
    • Delete your browsing history
    • Attempt the download again
    If the above does not work then try:
    • Repeat above instructions
    • Use a different browser such as Firefox and attempt to download
    If the above fails, please let us know and we will provide further instructions.

      Thanks for the quick reply. I have no issues downloading the NT application, regardless of whether the browser is IE7 or Firefox. The app installs fine; indeed, I have it open and running as I type this reply.

      However, for some reason, after some indeterminate time, usually days after I have last used it, if I click on the desktop shortcut for NT, it will begin installing once more and then be unable to locate the specific tmp file it wants.

      Once I download the app again and reinstall, it works fine.

      I am at a loss.
