We do not have an ETA on when eSignal or TT will be compatible with a 64-bit connection. You may want to inquire directly with these providers to see if they can lend any insight on when these would become available.

I have to admit I’m a little surprised NT don’t have an answer for this. I’m assuming you have been informing your account manager at Esig that NT7 is coming, surely he / she must be able to give you an answer?

Here 's the reply from TT staff:

Since you are connecting your FIX Client over a TCP/IP connection, TT will not restrict 64-bit applications as the adapter knows nothing of this information and is communicating with FIX messaging.

According to TT, Ninjatrader 7 with the TT connection is fully compatible with Windows 7 64 bit... but the information available here seems to indicate the opposite?

Currently NinjaTrader 7 does not support a 64-bit connection to TT. Once the production release of NinjaTrader 7 is available, support for more 64-bit connections will be added.

The 64-bit connection/compatibility with eSignal & NinjaTrader 7 is roughly the same as that with TT & other providers who are not currently on the (link below) list.

Once the production version of NinjaTrader 7 is released – we will work to add more providers who offer a 64-bit compatible connection types.

I have to say now I’m confused; originally you said we should check with the vendors why they hadn’t implemented support for 64 bit. Are you now saying that in fact it is NT that has not progressed the necessary work to enable 64 bit functionality?

Unfortunately we do not have an update on this. Please note that we did not release NinjaTrader 7 as production version. We recently released NinjaTrader 7.0.0.23, which is release candidate 1. However this is not the production release yet.
