    Tightening a trailing stop

For the number of features that NT has, I am amazed that when I ask how to tighten a trailing stop upon the trade going your way, all you can do is point me to 3rd party consultants. This is standard procedure in the trading world, can this not be incorporated into NT for non-programmers? Just a suggestion. Thanks

If anyone has code for this and is willing to share it, I would appreciate looking at it. I have taken an introductory programming course a while back in college.

To clarify (provided you are talking about a NinjaScript strategy): You always can tighten (or widen) your stop by calling SetStopLoss again with a different value. However, there is no "auto tightening" e.g. based on ATR or parabolic stop or such.

I am talking about ninjascript strategy. So you are saying that if I do that I could initally have a trailing stop of say, 4 and when I hit X amount of profit It would tighten to what I specify? And this can be done with the strategy wizard and no programming?? Thanks

You need to program to tighten your initial stop.

The other post was related to an ATM strategy and not to a NinjaScript strategy.
