    Best Brokerage/Best Datafeed with NT

Would somebody please share with me their favorite Broker and Data Feed to use with NT's platform. I assume there's a majority favorite among NT forum members who trade. Thanks

Though not a recommendation for which is "best", this link may be relevant in your decision making process too: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...HistoricalData

      Data Ratings - Please !!!!!!

This is exactly what I am looking for. Please "EVERYONE" provide some feedback on your data provider (Reliability, Speed, Affordable). I recently left OpenTick which was great until they moved their data migration. One week of bad data.

I subscribed to BarChart. It was good for two days. Today, (Tuesday) no continuous stock data. (NYSE, NASDAQ -ETFs). To update I have to use the "reload historical data" in Ninja. The futures are fine. I contacted Customer Service. After 10 rings I was sent to voice mail.

Please provide feedback on your service. I think I will be going with another provider in September.

        spz trader,

I subscribed to barchart.com as a replacement for opentick last week and had a similar experience. Not to mention the problems with their $TICK and $TRIN data. They definitely don't seem ready for prime time just yet.

I've used e-signal in the past and had good luck, but their pricing is now outrageous.

I subscribed to IQFeed yesterday to replace the failed barchart.com and so far everything is good, but it's only been two days.

        Hope this helps!

          Data Feed Ratings

          Clay,

Please let us know how IQ Feed is during the month. On EliteTrader.com I have heard horror stories when it comes to cancelling their service.

I know they were always very fast in the past. DTN (IQ Feed) has been around for a long time. If they are good I may consider switching. I know e-signal can be outrageous with their pricing but some of these "not ready for Prime-Time" players may leave me no other choice.

Initially, I was very satisfied with the speed of BarChart then wham! no streaming data for the stocks or ETFs on Tuesday my second day of service. Call Customer Service - voicemail after 10 rings. The futures were streaming.

This is very discouraging after OpenTick's bad data last week after their data migration. Don't these services have back-up plans.
