Did a new install, get the "successfully installed" message, but have the same problem. The Control Center shows on my taskbar but no window appears when clicking the taskbar Control Center button.

Thank you for your post.
Please right mouse click on the Control Center in the taskbar--> Choose Move-->hit the Right arrow on your keyboard once-->move your mouse-->Left mouse click when the Control Center is visible on your monitor.
