    Checking for SetStopLoss execution?

    Hi,

I'm looking for info on how to best determine if an initial SetStopLoss order (set upon entering a trade) has been executed...I'm guessing it probably has something to do with the "On Update" commands. Thanks in advance.

Well if your stop loss was executed that would mean you closed out your position so you could check for this with a MarketPosition check.

Yes, thank you however a position may also be closed (in this strategy) using the "Exit" commands...is there a way to differentiate? I'd like to be able to know how the position was closed if possible...StopLoss or Exit.

I suggest you take a look at the OnOrderUpdate() method in NT6.5 then. Alternatively, you can use a bool variable that becomes true when you submit your Exit method. This method is not perfect though because you may be stopped out while your Exit order is still being processed.
