Hi Team,
I place an ATM order with multiple contracts. There are different profit targets but all cars have the same stop. Let's say as the trade progresses I want to move the stops on the different contracts seperately. How on earth do I unbundle the resting stop order (say with three cars) into three separate stops all at different prices? That is, I have a stop with 3 contracts at one price, now I want to move it so that I have the 3 stops all separate at different prices. I'm sure I used to do this ... ? ? Thanks a lot |

Hello waverider,
You can use the Decrease/Increase buttons in the Control Center-->Orders-tab to change the orders to a different price. Once they are not stacked on the same price anymore, you can modify them within the SuperDOM/chart.

Thanks Jason,
I used to do it all directly from the DOM, is that not possible anymore? If it's not ... but I'm sure I used to do it .... please suggest this as a valuable enhancement. It would be so easy, eg ctrl-click to move one order (choose whichever one) at a time ! Cheers, wave

If the stop loss is submitted at the same price for multiple contracts initially, you will need to use the Increase/Decrease button to modify individual orders. Once they are not at the same price anymore, you can modify them from within the SuperDOM.
You can modify ATM orders with a single click. Please see the link below under 'How to modify Stop Loss and Profit Target orders with a single click' for instructions. http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...ing_orders.htm

Can I just double check that there is no way to simulate the 'increase' / 'decrease' buttons to seperate out two stop orders placed at the same price through a keyboard or mouse action from the DOM? I'm so sure I used to do this and it's quite annoying to have to go back to the control panel to do it ... ??
Cheers, |

Hello waverider,
Unfortunately you have to change the order from the Order tab in Control Center if they are stacked on the same price. Please let me know if I can assist you any further.
