Can I scratch a trade at my entry price when the market is trading at my entry?

    Hi,

If I am in a long position and the market is trading at my entry price, I move my stop loss order on the static SuperDOM up to my entry price but seem to always get that order filled at entry -1.

This happens even when the current price level hasn't traded out and the market has ticked down. My chart shows my stop order being filled at one tick below the bottom of the current candle.

Is there a way I can scratch at my entry price or do I always get a 1 tick worse fill?

    Thank you.

    Hello mattryzhick,

    Thank you for writing in.

Glad to assist. NinjaTrader is not able to affect live order slippage in this manner. By default, the simulator fill engine will attempt to mimic market fill conditions in this way as well, however, you may go to Tools > Options > Trading > Simulator > check "Enforce immediate fills" to disable this behavior on sim orders.

Let us know if we may assist further.
