Hi,

Suggestions re the Ruler

1. When using the Ruler I notice that clicking on a price point also selects the DataSeries chart objects (other draw tools dont do this). Is this intentional? If not - could this behaviour be removed as it seems to serve no purpose.

2. Could Volume be added to the data window (display same as price - the difference between the selected points)?

3. I tend to use the Ruler between 2 points only which means clicking again on the second point to 'close' the Ruler. Doing this seems to cause a problem (not consistently) when wanting to reselect the Ruler to delete or move it. When this happens the only way to delete is via Remove Drawing Objects.

1. This is required since you have to select what object you want to measure especially when there can be multiple series and/or indicators in a panel.

2. Will add as a suggestion to my list.

3. Be great if you had steps on how to reproduce, in the meantime, we will keep any eye out on this.

First up - it would have been better if I had read the Help files re Ruler before making the first post - the purpose of the third anchor point would have been clear - apologies...

However - the issue as reported is still relevant so....

Steps re 3. below.

1. With Ruler active click select first point
2. Then double click on second point to close out ruler
3. Then try and select anchor line to delete - cant
4. If instead of doubling clicking in 2. above make third click just slightly away from second point - then can select anchor point to delete

ie - whenever the location of second anchor point = third anchor unable to reselect any anchor point.

Hello rt-trader,

NinjaTrader 7 incorporates over 300 changes and many of these were from customer suggestions just like yours. Unfortunately we cannot estimate when various features will be added at this time. However, once the production release of NinjaTrader 7 is available, more will be added.
