    TDA Login fails after upgrading

    Can no longer long in to TDA after upgrading to NT version 6.5.1000.9.

    I get 2 error messages:
    HTTP call failed: LOGIN
    TD: unable to login(LoginFailed)

    We have had a few other reports of this and had sent an email to TDA development support to determine what may be/have caused this.

    At this time, if you are unable to connect I suggest downgrading back to 6.5.1000.8 available at our website. You would have to uninstall 6.5.1000.9 1st via Windows Control Panel.

    Sorry for the inconvenience. We will update this thread as soon as we have more information.

        Will have to reapply the upgrade over the weekend and see what happens on Monday.

          Upgraded on Sunday. Monday, the 30th was fine. Tuesday, the 31st, I got the 2 error messages on my 1st attempt at starting the connection. Shut down NT and restarted. On 2nd attempt at starting the connection the logon was successful.

              This morning was a repeat of yesterday. I got the 2 error messages on my 1st attempt at connecting to TDA. After shutting down NT and then restarting, the 2nd attempt was successful.

                Is this the LASTORDSTAT type message or something else?

                  I have not gotten a single LASTORDSTAT, so far, this week.

                  What I do get is the:
                  HTTP call failed: LOGIN
                  TD: unable to login(LoginFailed)

                    To double check:

                    - Before you login for the 1st time tomorrow, restart NT --> Do you get the error message?

                      cannot log on to opentick

                      I just updated ninja to xxxx9 and today tried to connect to opentick.
                      I rec. this message "Login failed: the connection has been broken(2004)

                        OpenTick is no longer in business. We don't support them anymore as a result. If it worked yesterday in 6.5.1000.8, please downgrade and use this version.

                            Thank you for your reply. Ray has asked me to assist.

                            You will need to uninstall from the Add/Remove Programs wizard in the Control Panel.
