Is it possible to change the working directory from "my documents" to somewhere else? I don't want my work to be saved on the system drive. Best, David

It is always possible to move "my documents" out of system drive to different drive

What is not supported? My point was that NinjaTrader makes it's "working directory" in "My Documents". What holds everybody to move "My Documents" out of C: drive to D: or E:? Even before installing NinjaTrader. It's just my opinion, but I have never ever kept "My Documents" in C: drive.

Usually when someone moves this folder it causes issues with NT. Also, we do not recommend it and we do not provide assistance with this. We also ask that you move it back to the C: drive.

That said, if you can get it to work feel free. We just don't recommend it.

Why would you ask to move it back to C:?
I believe that NinjaTrader checks where "my documents" folder is before installation. It does not matter where the actual folder is as long as it's "My Documents".
On my machine "My Documents" is E:\Documents. When I do fresh NinjaTrader installation, it creates automatically e:\Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5 and all other subfolders. So why would you recmmend move it to C:, if it has selfinstalled in E:?
