Earlier this morning I posted a question in Miscellaneous Support about adding back month contracts. For reference, it is under the same Subject as above.
Dierk was kind enough to respond to that question that trading is limited only to those delivery months available in the instrument manager. I would like very much to have that list expanded for Eurodollar (GE) futures.
As explained in the support question, eurodollar futures trade reasonably actively out to at least 5 years, and are a commonly used trading/hedging vehicle. I don't know if this has general utility, across all commodities, to warrant a user configurable feature. It probably makes sense for the Ninja crew to expand just the universe of Eurodollar contracts out to at least the first 5 years (currently H13), which would be just fine.
Note: This request is closely related to one I posted earlier today under: Eurodollar (GE) Packs and Bundles. Granting this wish, even absent that one, would be immensely helpful.
