Auto reload chart once its disconnected from Gain Server

Hi,

I would like to propose to Ninja Trader that, once its get disconnected from Gain Server, please reload previous ticks that were missed while trying to get connected back..

Hope this feature will benefits others as well.

Hi,

With the GAIN Capital data feed you should be able to receive any tick information that is less than 24 hours old, when you open a chart the information will backfill for the pairings you have selected.

Thanks, i understand when we open a new chart it will backfill, but what i meant was, the chart is already open, and its a tick based chart, then got disconnected from the Gain Server, and then when it got connected back, it does not backfill the missing ticks if the was any new ticks while i was disconnected from Gain Server, i have to reload the chart manual, and it takes time, worst till if the chart has more bars.

Hello,

The chart will not backfill and you will need to right click and use Reload Historical Data.

Thanks.. Hopefully future NT will backfill it automatically once it get connected for us if we got disconnected from the servers.
