Plot vertical line in chart at certain time?

Hey guys, I asked this question in the Charting section:

"Quick question..

Is there a way to have Ninja Trader plot a vertical line on your chart at certain times? For example: I want vertical lines to appear at the beginning of the "CME lunch hour" (chop time) and then at the end of it."

Does anyone know of an indicator like this? If not, could someone help me make one? I suck at coding (understatement of the century, too!)

Chris, this can be done with our Strategy Wizard by using the 'Vertical Line' drawing method from the misc sectionb - just check for your start and end times in the 'conditions' section and add the Vertical Line then in the 'action' section below - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...rdScreens.html

I'd like plot vertical line when a macroeconomic or important news will announce by media or by bce, fed.

I see that is possible connect like metatrader the feed to be ploted to the chart

You will have to custom program this yourself and link your script to a news feed. Unfortunately to do this is far more advanced C# than what we can offer support for. I recommend you try a 3rd party NinjaScript Consultant if you are not a programmer: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/pa...injaScript.htm
