With all due respect to all, I really don't get what the pressing issue is regarding this feature. As PatrickH said, this sort of thing is trivial to implement in a custom bars type. You can even color your up/down wicks differently, give them different thicknesses, you can make dojis a different color. It really isn't that hard. But then again, maybe I am missing something here.

      EDIT:
Personally I am more interested in NT developing the capabilities of the customs bar type further. For example, the ability to add your own custom properties, the ability to set custom default values, the ability to have custom TypeConverters, the ability to update property grids for ChartStyles and BarsTypes programmatically...

for me, I just want my outline and wick the same colour as my candle body, up or down. Without doing any programming, or using any third-party add-ons

          Hello brucerobinson,

I think I understand. I have simply gotten used to the fact that if I need something that is not available, I just need to program it myself. You are right of course in that it takes time away from the core things you need to program. In that sense, it would be very helpful not to have to code basic things so you can just focus on the code to you.

If you want the ChartStyle that does this sort of thing, and save you some aggravation, pm me.

              Hello Zeos6,

              Thank you for your post.

As this thread is for the UI options and your detail below is more NinjaScript related can you send me a note at platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com with 'ATTN: Patrick H' in the subject line and each of your requests so I may get feature requests for you on these items?
