instalation failed

I try to update version 24 or 25 but it failed.i m using version 7.01000.18(SIM) window 7 ultimate
and have no problem.try to up date to use a 3rd party add on and it says too old version,plz up date new version.After D/L try to run ,it look like it is down loading but set up page never appear.Any advise plz
