Default MB Trading Demo & Ninja

Hello,

I currently have MB trading demo account setup with Ninja, but charts don't seem to work. Does NT support MBT demo accounts or is it just live?
Thanks!

MB Trading provides realtime data only.
When markets are open you will get charts starting to build up, but just from the moment you have launched NT.
If you need historical data you will have to sign up for provider which does support historical data.

It might be possible to sign up for a demo account with Forex.com, and select the NinjaTrader Servers for histortical data. I'm not sure how it would work with two data feeds at once in real-time, but could be worth looking into.

Hello,

It would work. Just connect to Gain to get the historical data then disconnect. Then connnect to your live feed.

I use MBTrading (live) and also use their SDK for my own bespoke programming. I know they have historical data with the SDK because I've used it.

Do you not use the SDK interface with NT?

Hi sparkz,

Thank you for your reply.

No, we do not use the SDK. NinjaTrader uses MBT Navigator Version 11.2.0.2. Unfortunately, no historical data is offered.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or if I may be of further assistance.

Hi price777999,

Thank you for your post.

SDK is an acronym for Software Development Kit.
