    Error on loading chart data...

    Hi,

    I am getting lots of messages on connection like "error on loading chart data for 'YM 09-13". connection...".

    I'm getting these errors on several instruments, for several contracts (ioe 06-13, 03-13).

    I have done the .14 update and the SQL CE update, and have repaired database, but have not managed to fix it.

    What can I try next?

    What is the full message you receive?

    Who are you connected to? This is displayed by green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.

        error on loading chart data for 'CL 03-13 Nymex': connection to data server is busdy or not available right now. please try again later

          Hello Will,

          This message indicates that the historical data server was busy.

          Please wait five minutes and then right click on the chart and select "Reload All Historical Data'.

          If you still receive the same message, please restart NinjaTrader and reduce the amount of historical data being requested.

            but this is happening every time i start up... the server cant be busy ALL the time??

            i tried reducing as far as 10 days data, still get the error.

                In the message, please include the following:

                2.) Your most current trace and log files.

                You will find the file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 7-> Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt

                Log file will be located by going to Documents->NinjaTrader 7->Log->log.YYYYMMDD.txt

                    I am having the same issue as the OP, which I have never seen before until today. I tried loading a chart of historical data offline, and it wouldn't display more than a few days of historical minute or tic data.

                    When I reload chart while not connected to feed, it won't load more than a few days of data no matter how many days I tell it to load.

                    When I connect to a feed I get the same error as the OP, I am attaching a pic.

                    Should I email the support as well, or do you guys have what you need to isolate the problem?

                        It must be a known issue

                        Every person in my trading group is having this problem. it must be a known issue by now that has occured with the zen-fire upgrade. I hope they can resolve it soon, I have given up asking questions here, I'm just waiting until they release a general fix.

                          I have this problem

                          This is an ongoing problem for me as well. It does not always occur, but it happens when changing data or instrument for a chart. To resolve it, I have to relaunch NT, but this is really not acceptable.
                          What is the fix for this? Is it a bad feed? I already sent a request to support but have not received a reply

                            I got this error recently fixed myself. It seems like updating to a newer version of NT fixed this problem for me.
