Hello !
I am not able to display Chart data for the FTSE100 SPOT index (symbol: UKX or ^FTSE)! I have looked for this index within the "instrument manager", but was unable to find it. Is it possible to add the FTSE100 SPOT index, for Ninjatrader to include it with the next update? If possible, could you please put it on the "improvement list" for the next update?? Also, if possible, please also include the FTSE100 Dividend Index. It is an important benchmark in order to calculate a Future contract's fair value. Another last question: Is it possible, when programming an indicator for the FTSE100 Index Futures (symbol: Z), to refer to another instrument (for example the above-mentioned SPOT index) for the purpose of calculations? (i.e. using another instruments price in the indicators formula) Is something like this possible? If not, will it become possible in the future? Thank you. Sincereley, Footsie |

Hello,
Thank you for your post and welcome to our forums. 1) You can add any instrument into NinjaTrader as long as they are supported by data provider. Can you please clarify who you connect to for data? This is displayed in the bottom left hand corner of the NinjaTrader Control Center. Once I have this information I'd be happy to help you set this up. 2) Yes, this is possible. Please see our Help Guide article on Multi-Time Frame & Instruments: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...nstruments.htm

Hello,
Thank you very much. I am a customer of the UK-based brokerage firm Berkeley Futures Ltd. They are using Patsystems. I have no other subscription from a data vendor. I am just using the data from my broker. In any case i was unable to display or retrieve data for the FTSE100 SPOT index. (symbol: UKX or ^FTSE) I found it odd, because it is a very important and major index. I will look through the article on Multi-Time Frame & Instruments. Thanks again. |

Patsytems only provides data for Forex.
If you would like to get spot index prices, you would need to subscribe to a data provider who offers index data. Click here to view more information on Historical Data and Understand the data provided by your connectivity provider
