Hello all,
I've noticed that once the sdf database file under db/NinjaTrader.sdf becomes large (> 500 MB), I get a performance hit when loading and editing strategy configurations. Is there a way to reduce the size of this file while keeping the following info which I consider vital? These are the work-spaces and the strategy configurations. Thanks, Boaz |

Hello,
Under Tools--> Options--> Data tab--> 'Repair DB' should attempt to compact the database to a smaller size. If running the repair db option does not bring the database down to a manageable level, you will need to 'Reset DB' The workspaces are not saved in the database and will not be lost when resetting. However some strategy information will be contained here. Do you know what exactly you're doing to get the db this large? We typically do not see a db size of over 30-100MB.
