Hi Bertrand,

could you please point me to a reference that explains how to send an order after the RSI emerges from a user defined level?

Let's say that the price have fallen below 30, I would like to automate an order submission when, in the following bars, the prices emerge from that level.
thank you,

John.

John, yon can take a look at the following simple example attached. This is a strategy made from our wizard interface, allowing for the generation of such scripts with point and click. The entry is done if the strategy is flat and RSI crosses over the user defined oversold level (default 30) and exit if the RSI crosses over 70, otherwise it would take an end of day exit.

Good luck for your own strategy works.

I tried this RSI strategy but it skips buy signals even though it's clear that RSI has crossed above 30. Any suggestions?

Correct, it would only enter when it's in a flat state, so would not carry any positions. So if it's already long and a subsequent signal is generating with the RSI crossing 30, you would not see an execution.
