I received an error message. Rejecting several attempts to enter a position. Message was amp no data affected order "no data" I am using NT7 with Amp and Zenfire data. I restarted--did not work. I deleted Amp and recreated connection-did not work. Of course the trade missed would have been a winner.

Hello ninjablanks,
Thank you for your post. Can you tell me the following: - What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About - Who are you connected to? This is displayed by green on lower left corner of the Control Center window. We have heard reports of this error and that is due to the CME changes that took effect on June 3rd. http://www.ninjatrader.com/Advisory/Advisory3.php Upgrading to NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.6 has resolved this issue. Use the following link to download NinjaTrader. You can register your current license key which can be found under the Control Center -> Help--> License Key http://www.ninjatrader.com/download-registration.php

I upgraded to NT7 v6 and the issue was resolved Thanks!

Hey guys,
I have the same problem. "trading, no data affected Order:" My connection is zen-fire and i use NT 7.0.1000.9 Don't want to open a new thread, hope this is ok. Greetings |

Hi guys,
also have same issue. I use Kinetick as my data provider and MB Trading as my broker. I closed all my quote preferences at MBT profile setting just for reason to force to get all quotes from Kinetick, also don't want to be subscribed to same exchanges twice. But when I try to enter position, I get that "Order rejected" message. Should it be because MBT doesn't know the price of the instrument, because I'm not subscribed to their data connection? Yes, you will need to be subscribed with MBTrading in order to trade an instrument.

Hi Jason,
thank you for answer. This is the common thing of NinjaTrader or issue related only to MBT so it deppends up to broker if I need always subscribe to their data feed also even if I have my own data feed provider? Thanks |

I believe the same applies for all other supported broker partners. If you do not have access to receive data through your broker, you are likely not authorized to trade it either.
