Default Problems with Windows 2003 Server or Cloud Computing environment?

Hello,

I have NT 7 running on a Cloud Windows 2003 Server, 32 bit.

When I have an indicator, any indicator, on a Market Analyzer instance, then often I am unable to load data on a new chart, or change. The chart just hands with "Loading Data" message but never finishes loading.

I don't know if this is because this is a VM in a Cloud or if it is due to Windows 2003.

I am running NT 7 on a standard XP box with no problem.

Thanks

Hello Turtle Trader,

Thank you for your post.

You may be running into resource limitations on your VM.

I would suggest reviewing and applying our Performance Tips under the seconds 'Charting', 'Lagging Market Data', and 'Market Analyzer'

http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...ance_tips2.htm

Please let me know if you see issues after applying all of the suggested performance tips.

Default which Cloud?

Which Cloud are you setup on? Some of them are running proprietary cloud software, developed in house.

The one I'm using is from Gigenet

http://www.gigenetcloud.com/

on the other post:

I watch the Task Manager and the resource usage is very low, both CPU and Memory. Though, I don't know what this means on a Cloud VM.

When I get time I will clone another VM and give you the logon so you can verify.

Will that work for you?
