Each time I reopen my workspace, I find that my Level II was not reopened as I saved it. I have my workspace saved with "show quotes" and "show summary" turned off. When I reopen workspace, they are turned back on. I have to go to all Level IIs in workspace and change them. Seems that those should be saved. Also, I use fib retracements, and when I open it, my default settings are gone. I have to reset it each time I use it, even if it is on the same chart.
Thanks. |

Hello khagans
Welcome to the NinjaTrader Support Forums For this issue you are experiencing, you will need to make sure you are taking the following all steps to create & save your custom workspaces: Create a Workspace Select the menu File > Workspaces > New Workspace A new workspace will be created (unsaved) with a generic title such as "Untitled1" Once you have customized the workspace to your liking you must then save the workspace via File > Workspaces > Save Workspace As... menu Save a Workspace Select the menu File > Workspaces > Save Workspace or Save Workspace As... Any changes made to the currently displayed workspace will be saved Note: If you want to confirm that your custom workspace has been saved, you can check by doing the following: 1. Navigate to you "My Documents" folder 2. Double click on the NinjaTrader 6.5 folder 3. Double click on the Workspace folder 4. Confirm that your workspace has been saved, evidenced by an XML file with the unique name you saved it as. Open a Workspace Select the menu File > Workspaces > Open Workspace... Within the dialog window "Open Workspace" select the workspace you wish to open and press the "OK" button The selected workspace will open, a menu item representing the workspace will be displayed in the menu (see "My Workspace" in above image) and will be set as the currently displayed workspace Close a Workspace Select the menu File > Workspaces > Close Workspace The currently displayed workspace will be closed Delete a Workspace Select the menu File > Workspaces > Open Workspace... Within the dialog window "Open Workspace" select the workspace you wish to delete and press the "Delete" button Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

For the Fib Retracement setting & saving (assuming you are working with NinjaTrader 7 - let me know if this is not the case), please see the following instructions:
To establish ‘default’ Fib Retrace levels do the following: 1. Apply Fib Retrace drawing tool to the chart 2. Select diagonal line of Fib & right-click to select Properties 3. Customize the Fib drawing tool 4. Right-click on Fib Retrace edit dialog & select “Manage Templates…” 5. You will now save this as “Default” Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
