I happened to assign Ctrl+Left Arrow and Ctrl+Right Arrow as my hot keys to make bars narrower or wider, not realizing those keys had predefined functions related to shifting a chart horizontally. Once assigned, those keys both changed the width of bars and shifted the chart! Not what I expected, and, in my opinion, not a good result. I would suggest:
1. Don't allow Ctrl+Left Arrow and Ctrl+Right Arrow to be assigned as hot keys; or 2. Have the hot key assignment supersede the chart-shifting function, if Ctrl+Left Arrow or Ctrl+Right Arrow is assigned as a hot key; or 3. (best) Expose the chart-shifting functions as two more assignable hot keys that default to Ctrl+Left Arrow and Ctrl+Right Arrow. |

Hello MikeInMA,
Ctrl + left/right arrow keys are not used to scroll/shift through charts as per the other forum thread. By default, Ctrl + up/down arrow will (de)compress the X-axis. When the X-axis is (de)compressed, the bar width will automatically change as well. This is as expected.
