Feature request: Please add support for CFD instrument

Please add support for Sydney Futures Exchange (SNFE) CFD instruments. I use Interactive Brokers, example symbol with IB for Rio Tinto would be:-

Stock = RIO[ASX,STK,AUD]
CFD = RIO[SNFE,CFD,AUD]

I can't get the mapping in NT to recognise the CFD symbol, I think, because ther is no Instrument type for a CFD.

CFD's are currently not supported in NT.

I read back in 2010 that CFDs were not supported in Ninja. Has there been any progress on this since then?

Yes, CFD's are now supported but only with FXCM as a broker currently.

IB has added a wide variety of CFDs over the past few months, which look pretty attractive to me. Are there plans to support them in NT anytime soon?

Hello Kai,

We are looking to expand CFD support to call the Brokers who support CFDs in the next major release of NinjaTrader. At this time though it is not confirmed, nor do we have a release date yet as it is still under development.
