I am correctly installed and have logged into E signal but when I select " HSI 02-06" or any of the other Hong Kong futures I do not get any data in my superdom. when I place a trade I get an error message saying "no market data available"

The data is there on E signal as I have live charts. Can you tell me what the problem is?

Can I feed in data from interactive brokers for the Hang seng futures?

thanks

Mike

Hmmm ... probably a symbol mapping problem. Which instrument name do you enter in eSignal app itself if you want to pull up a HSI chart?

Yes it is different, I wondered about that. In E signal it is HSI F6-HKF

The F6 referring to the contract details.

Like wise the mini-hang send is MHI F6-hkf

many thanks

I'm still talking to eSignal, since there are some issues involved which are still unclear to me.

Will let you know as soon as I've got a clear picture.

Here is what you need to do: change the HSI mapping in the instrument manager for eSignal to "HSI|HKF" (see attachment). This should do the trick.

a) I changed the default setup for HHI and HSI to reflect the HKF exchange.
b) You still would not get data in case you are not entitled. I added an error message for next release.
