Hello ,

I am running NT7 on a laptop and i want to have a second workplace displayed on a VGA external monitor connected to USB port .

I could not really understand in the forum threads if it is supported and the possible solution .

Thank you

Hello ggeib750,

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately, this is not possible within NinjaTrader. Only the active workspace can be displayed.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

Hello ggeib750,

Thank you for your response.

Support for multiple monitors is currently supported in NinjaTrader, however only one workspace may be viewed at a time.
Are you looking to use multiple monitors or have multiple workspaces view-able at once?

I look forward to assisting you further.

Yes , correct , a workplace can be displayed over 2 monitors as I noticed but I would like to have 1 workplace ( ex ES charts ) on my laptop and another workplace ( ex NQ charts) on the external VGA monitor

???

Whatever u can put on your laptop screen,
You can see on another monitor (if it is working).

Does your laptop not have vga or hdmi outputs that is forcing you to use Usb?

I use an extra monitor on my laptop.

But you don't need multiple workplaces for viewing multiple symbols. You only need assigning different symbol link color (on the right top of the window title).
I have 5 monitors.
