Default IB Connection Instruction Video Doesn't Match the IB TWS Menu

I'm trying to connect to my IB account on a new machine. In the connection video on the TWS API connections instruction it shows a menu on TWS which is configure > API > Fire openOrder on status change.

When I run TWS and make the appropriate configuration changes, that menu item is not on the API menu as displayed in the video, and I'm having trouble finding it anywhere else on the IB TWS menu structure. Is this an old menu structure which has been superceeded by a later configuration? If so, where do I find the "Fire openorder..." control in TWS?
Thanks

Hello,

You do not need to have this setting checked in TWS. The video is a little older, I will have development take a look into updating this.

Please only check the information that you have found and everything should work.

Default IB Connection Problems

I have one other problem. Based on what I see in the forums, I need version 877 of TWS, but in the download menu from IB, 878 is the oldest TWS Standalone version they offer. Is 877 available somewhere else, or will 878 work?

Default Tws 877

Sorry, I missed that tiny little "download" message in the instruction screen. I did call them and they said version 877 was no longer supported. I know you guys are busy with 6.5 and everything else, but are you planning on moving up the revision of TWS any time soon?
Thanks again

Hello,

The latest version of TWS will be supported sometime in the near future. I do not have a specific date but you should be notified by email.
