Hi Ninja guys,
is there any practical limit to how many timeframes can be used in a Strategy? For instance, would
100 x 2 minutes,
100 x 10 minutes,
100 x Daily be theoretically and practically possible?

The strategy would be used to trade a portfolio of stocks.

Hi Saltminer,

NinjaTrader does not place a hard limit on the number of series added. Each series added will take place in memory, so the soft limit is the amount of series it takes before this limit is reached. This will vary depending on instrument, interval, and days to load.

Hi,
thanks for that. Is the 64 bit version of NT7 likely to be able to handle larger RAM requirements or are the 64 and 32 bit versions identical in this regard?

Yes, since by using the 64 bit version you'll have access to more RAM for your NinjaTrader process, with 32 bit you'll run into the 1.3 GB Windows limitation.
