Default Adding Kinetick market internals to Instrument Manager

I'm trying to add a couple market internals to the Instrument Manager but have run into a couple issues. I found the symbols by doing a search on Kinetick's site but when trying to add them to IM it asks for the symbol mapping which I cannot locate on the site. Also, in my IM I do not have a Market Internals exchange, only currency/future/index/stock.

I did find another thread on this subject but it didn't address any of the above.

Three of the ones I'm trying to add are JT1T.Z, JT5T.Z & JTRT.Z.

Thanks.

Hello,

I'm having trouble finding these in the Kinetick search tool.

What parameters did you use to search for this as Im unfamiliur with these market internals.

Also, if you found them in the list, this is the symbol mapping that is used. Therefor you will need to add this for the symbol mapping in the instrument manager. To do this find the instrument in the instrument manager and then select edit. Then goto the Misc tab and then scroll down to Kinetick and add the symbol mapping that is used from the kinetick.com search tool.

Now try to pull the instrument back up.

I look forward to assisting you further.

I did a search for TICK in market statistics/exchange ALL and it pulled up close to a 100 different symbols, all of which are on the default exchange. But I couldn't find any mapping info on any of them as the search just has 4 columns - symbol, description, exchange & instrument type.

I tried adding them to a chart like you would ^TICK but that didn't work - just gave an invalid instrument error message. And I can't find any of the three I mentioned in Instrument Manager.

Hello,

To add this into NinjaTrader since it is not a common market stitistic it is not added by default.

To add this goto Control Center->Tools->Instrument Manager.

Select Add

Then use for master symbol JT4T.Z, set the type from stock to Index and then check mark the default exchange. Then goto the the Misc tab and scroll down to the symbol mapping for kinetick. Add in the symbol map of JT4T.Z . Then select ok and you can now get data for this instrument.

Do this for any other instruments you would like to be added.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

That did the trick. Thanks again for your help.

FYI - JT1T.Z is more commonly known as TIKI and is a relatively popular symbol in case any one asks in the future. The other symbols I referenced were the equivalent of Tiki for the ndx/rut.

Hello,

Thanks for the forum post.

I tried to locate JTIT.Z on the following list and was not able to locate.

https://www.kinetick.com/support#Symbol-Search

What is this that you are trying to map and what are you referencing the symbol map from?
