Default Multiple Brokers

Hi
Is it possible to trade IB using Amp's Zenfire data using a live multiple broker ninja platform?

If so, what would be the connection sequence.

Also, is the 6E in ninja the same as ib's EUR? If so, why different symbols?

Thanks
JR Smith

Hello,

Thank you for your post.

This is possible with the Multi-Broker license, and you would connect to Zen-Fire first for the data, and IB for access to the account.

That symbol is the same. With NinjaTrader the master instrument is based on the exchange symbol, but the data feed mapping is set up correctly based on what IB has.

What would prevent both broker accounts from executing?

Your reference states: "Connect to and trade through multiple brokers simultaneously"

Thanks

Hi,

Although you are connected to multiple providers at the same time, and have access to the accounts they each offer at the same time, you would still need to manually select the account that you wish your trades to execute upon.

NinjaTrader allows you to select accounts for multiple brokers at the same time, but you will still have to select the account from the order entry window.

Thanks.

This is my plan. Amp Futures offers both Trading Technologies and Zenfire data and the account i want to trade is at IB. And i need range bars and tick charts which i understand both TT and Zenfire offers.

So, I'm thinking if i open an account at Amp i could use either TT or Zen data to execute my IB account. Is this doable if i upgrade to multi-broker ninja? I just want to confirm i can do this before i make the splurge.

thanks

JR

Hi JR,

Your plan is definitely doable since you can connect to both connections and select your IB account while getting data from Zen-Fire, so long as you are using the Multi-Broker License.
