I use IB TWS for execution only on a give up basis to third party clearing member. This means I am unable to receive historic data from IB which is OK as I have other programs/data-feeds for charting. I would however like to use NT for execution because of the nice order management features instead of TWS but I am unable to connect through the NT control center. This is probably becausethe login I use is not recognised as a clearing customer of IB but I was hoping it could at least read the data in real-time and send orders to TWS from NT. Alternatively using a data feed like opentick and routingorders to TWS would be fine.Does anyone know if this is possible oris there anyone elseout there using NT and IB as give-up broker?I have tried all sorts of combinations on Account connections setup but without luck as error message is always "login failed"Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hmm... are you able to connect to TWS manually? If yes, then the problem should be solvable, if no, then I guess there is no way for NT to connect.

Hi Dierk, Thank you for your response. Yes, I am able to connect to TWS manually each day using my IB supplied username/password and I am executing my futures this way (no Idealpro Forex for give up cutomers either). All ActiveX and sockets are enabled and I get the message to allow incoming connection from NT but it fails to login. I have used TWS give up before with other programs like Dynastore and it is able to receive data so perhaps there is a solution. BTW, I am using latest beta of NT6 but I figure the connection protocol is the same as in NT5. Hope you can help. Thanks.

You're welcome. I'll post next custom build in case we build another one before next official update.
