Default eTrade & eSignal

Mercy on an ignorant miserable newbie!

I have accounts with eTrade and with eSignal. eSignal provides data to Ninjatrader but does not connect with eTrade.

Is there any way to use Ninjatrader to place order with eTrade, or must I open an account with another broker?

I reviewed the list of "broker technologies" provide in answer to an earlier question. Are the "broker technologies" the same as the brokers? Or does eTrade possibly have access to any of those listed?

Thanks for your patience!

best regards

Unfortunately eTrade is not a supported broker partner. You can find all supported broker partners at the link below.
http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/pa...ng_brokers.htm

Broker technologies refer to the connectivity providers the broker uses to provide NinjaTrader with data and being able to select your broker account in the software.

Default Any recommendations

Jason,

Thanks for you prompt reply. It's most appreciated.

I wish to trade equities -- ETF's -- from an account based in the US. Is there any broker you would recommend as particularly reliable or least error prone when it comes to placing automated orders from the Ninjatrader platform?

Best regards,

Unfortunately I am not in a position to recommend one broker partner over the other; it would not be fair against our other partners. I suggest to search the forum for user experiences in reagrds to our supported broker partners or post a new thread.
