Default Missing Instruments...

...Ok this may be a simple question but a friend of mine has 135 instruments available and I have 110 and missing some key instruments that I need. We both have the same datafeed etc. Any idea's??? He is running 6.5 and I am running v.7

Can you please tell me what data feed provider you are connected to when checking the Instrument Manager. Please check if all four instrument types (currencies, futures, equities and indices) are listed under the Type drop down field. If not, the data feed provider does not support all instrument types. This could explain the differenece.

It is also possible to add custom created instruments by clicking the New-button; it could be your friend added some custom instruments.

To update the Instrument Manager with all available instruments by default, please go to Tools-->Options-->Misc-tab and click Reset Instruments.
