Default Gumphrie's Dots: change size possible ?

Hi,
Gumphrie has made some kind of dots - used as a plot instead of a line in the MACDBBLines and TRO-indicators. Is it possible to change the wide of these dots, the color + outlinestyle?
And is it possible to change the dots to squares or dashes ?
i looked around in the code but didnt find the right piece to change it.
Any ideas to this ?
Maybe any codesamples to make this usable for costume indicators?
ThanX

I am not sure how the indicator was coded but if it used one of our available plot styles then you can change color/width etc... via the indicator dialog window under the Plots section.

max-td,

Unfortunately Gumphrie's dots is done in a custom plotting routine that is beyond the level of what we can support on the forums. If you want to try and mess around in it you can see the relevant code inside the "Plot Override" section of the TRO_PMSM_Trend indicator.

i see - thanks.
sounds like the same advanced stuff as the sidewinder-plot in woodies CCi-indicator.

Maybe if Gumphrie himself or someone else has a tip - its welcome here
What it makes so interesting is, that the dots are no "Drawobjects" + so not too "heavy" in the chart like tons of "drawn" dots.

Right. The dots are done through custom plotting and not the draw objects.

I'm new to this NT coding but you might try playing around at the plot override section on lines 344 or line 350.
I changed the font size of 7 and 5 to see if I had the right section. Should be able to get some different graphics similar to DashStyle.Dot, DashCap.Round, etc. Might need to Google for a listing of the various styles.

Hi zeller,
i didnt get it - played around with these styles (DashStyle.Dot, DashCap.Round, etc. ) - but only the size is changeable somehow.
If you know more of this special part of codingstuff - let me know - i like to talk about that with somebody with more experience than me.
also this plotstyle here at the picture - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/v...2&d=1223116577
these 4 colored lines - i am very interested in using this in my costume indicators.

@ Josh/Ray : There is an upcoming version 7 of ninjatrader - do you know if this kind of plotstyle maybe is a standard posiblity there ?

ciao
