Importing from Shared NT 7 Indicators

Are there instructions on how to import one of the shared indicators in that same forum?
There is an indicator there that I would like to use but I am not sure how to import it into my indicators on NT and don't want to screw things up. Thanks

Thank you for your note.


To import indicators you will need the original .zip file.


Here is a basic guideline of how to Import indicators.


To Import
1. Download the indicator to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
2. From the Control Center window select the menu File > Utilities > Import NinjaScript
3. Select the downloaded .zip file
4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some indicators, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

i have a problem importing a NT indicator. i am prompt "There is a pb with indicator that needs to be fixed before imported". i did delete the file and tried to import another file. i still get the same msg. what shuld i do?

here is what i get: "You have custom Ninjatrader on your PC that have programming errors. These errors must be resolved before you can import a NinjaScript Archive file".

I did delete indicator from desktop already but i keep on geting same msg...

You were missing a system default indicator, SMA specifically.
I replaced that file and was able to compile all NinjaScript items.
