Candlesticks on charts with black backgrounds

The attached charts show examples of candlestick charts with black backgrounds.

Chart 1: Without outline the chart is easy to read but the opening/closing price of bars that do not have a body can not be determined. If those bars do not have wicks then nothing is displayed.

Chart 2: Adding outline allows all prices to be seen but it is much harder to see patterns.

Chart 3: Changing outline color from White to DarkGray helps a little.

    My suggestion:

For Candlestick charts, allow outlining of top and bottom of the candlestick's body without drawing the sides of the outline.

Chart 4 shows how this would appear.

Now that NT7 has separated the wick color from the outline color, very readable candle stick charts can be displayed on black backgrounds. All that is required with NT7 is to specify a transparent candle outline color and a non-black wick color.

The only problem is that it is not possible to determine the Open/Close price for candles that do not have bodies. The bar shows only a wick if it has one, otherwise, nothing is displayed. This is easily fixed if a hash of wick color is drawn at the Close price for any candle sticks that have transparent outline color and Open equal to Close.

Someone could help me show closing price and opening IN THE SAME candles (like this example).
Thanks in advance.Click image for larger version

              Hello juancupert,
              Thank you for your post.
You can view your Charts as OHLC charts by changing the Chart Style to OHLC. To do this you will right click on the chart> Select Data Series> Chart Style> Select OHLC> Press OK.
