In the past 2 days I tried out the demos of Ninjatrader with both zenfire and trading technologies, and the OEC platform. Somehow I get my orders filled faster with OEC platform than Ninja traders.

For example. I went long on SP 500 at 1295 and I put sell limit at 1297. When sp 500 hit the sell limit and stayed there for like 2-3 secs, OEC sold my position immediately while Ninjatrader demo didnt, and the sp500 went dropped to 1296.

My question now is, was the delay/not selling at the limit by ninjatrader demo due to market depth. Since that you get in a queue and you need to wait till for your turn at the cleaning house? If so, does this mean that the ninjatrader demo gives a better real life situation than OEC, when it sold the position when it "touched" the limit.

I hope really like to know an answer, since this will determine the broker I pick!

So basically in real life your orders will not get filled immediately once the market trades at your order price?

NinjaTrader's simulator does the best it can to simulate real market conditions and the variables that exist.

Here is a link that explains the differences between Sim and Live.

Is there any difference between zenfire and trading technologie data? Especially in terms of order execution (fills) and for traders living in europe

We have happy customers in Europe who use both feeds.
