Strategy worked well before upgrade to latest version.

I had a strategy that I ran on a 5 year backtest yesterday morning and it produced a 1.91 profit factor with overall good results.

I went to work, came home, and then decided to address the message that said, "Upgrade to latest version of NinjaTrader ready". I upgraded, and then ran my strategy analyzer test again, and it produced a 1.03 profit factor with poor results.

I can't see how these are related, but it sure does look that way. I can't think of anything else that changed. I didn't change the strategy, and it's the same data. is there something else going on? Or is the upgrade a possible problem?

Thank you for your note.

The update should not effect your backtesting at all.

Did you save the backtest? (The disk icon second from the left in the Strategy Analyzer). If so, you can see what your setting where by openning the saved backtest by clicking on the folder icon on the Strategy Analyzer and selecting the saved backtest then selecting the Settings tab. Compare these to what you are running now.
