Trouble with: cumprofit - net - accountvalue

I traded simulated today and got following results (not for the first time):

Net: +7474.80

Cum Profit -1.00%

Accountvalue: 120273.31 (started with 100'000).

I traded index-futures with 2.4$ commission one side. In the execution tab -2.4/lot is allright.

And yes. The account was set to its initial value before trading today.



=> SO HOW CAN MY CUMULATED PROFIT BE NEGATIVE? WHY IS MY NETPROFIT MUCH LESS THAN THE GAIN IN ACCOUNT-VALUE? WHAT DO I MISS HERE?

Hi,

Please do the following:

Go to Tools--> Options--> Misc Tab--> Repair DB. Then restart NinjaTrader and see if this fixes your issue.

Did repair the database. But did not change anything.

Did two demotrades: one ES, one ER2. after the entry 12.4$ was deducted (why?).

But after closing of the positions the accountvalue changed as it should have (win/loss -4.8$/roundturn). Net profit was calculated right, too.

I recalculated net profit from the execution tab in Excel: net profit is allright. That is enough for me to know at the moment. Thanks for the support. And please excuse that I do not want to send you my trade files (proprietary tradingsystem).

I will erase the original data and then do some marketreplay nonsense trading and then mail the file...

alreadydid that. In market replay everything is ok now. I will test it realtime tomorrow.
