How about for those of us who have accoutns at different brokers? I remember Ray mentioning that this is possible with IB and Patsystems brokers.
I personally have an account at IB and GlobalFutures (which is a Patsystems broker).
1) How do I establish connectivity to these 2 brokers from one instance of NinjaTrader?
2) Also, can I have one strategy send orders to both brokers? 3) Can I also distribute number of contracts between the 2, for example, 2 contracts to GlobalFutures, 1 contract to IB?
Thanks.

1) You need the MultiBroker Edition. The follow the instructions on the connectivity guides from the website.
2) Yes but NT will only replicate the intitial opening order across both accounts. Subsquent modifications to this initial order must be done individually.
3) There is no allocation capabilitiy.

How about if I have 2 accounts at the same broker? Will I need the Multi-broker edition?
What is the difference between the regular NT and the Multi-broker edition? BTW, how will I know if I have the Multi-broker edition?
Can I send you my license number privately and can you let me know if I have the Multi edition?
Thanks.

This depends on which broker, go ahead and send me a pmail with license code and tell me where your accounts are at and I can give you a better explanation.

Hi Ray,
Sorry for the delay in responding. Which e-mail address do I send my license code to?
I'm having a tough time getting NT set up for my new account at GlobalFutures.

BTW, I have accounts at IB and GlobalFutures.
If I close down my IB account and open another one at GlobalFutures, will I be able to trade the 2 accounts at GlobalFutures using a single-broker edition?
Thanks.

You are having a tough time because you are not licensed to use NT with Global Futures.

I don't understand. how do get licensed? Is that with GlobalFutures, or do I do that with NT?

With NinjaTrader. You purchased the IB single edition. If you want to use with GF then you need to subscribe to Pats version. If you want both, the multi broker version.

I've already paid for the IB Single Edition. Is it the same price for the PATS Single Edition? I already have the link to download the PATS version from GlobalFutures. Is downloading the PATS version all I need to do to make it work?
If I subscribe to the Multi-broker edition, will it be pro-rated?

Not same price, there is no Pats single edition. Either need Pats version or MultiBroker. If you upgrade, you will get a refund for time remaining on original subscription.

Okay. Sign me up for the PATS edition. How do I subscribe to that? And how do I unsubscribe to my current IB Single Edition?
Thanks.

Go to www.ninjatrader.com (http://www.ninjatrader.com), sign up for the Pats Edition and I will take care of the rest once that comes through.

Hi Ray,
Do you have another method of receiving payment aside from Paypal? I set up another Paypal account, and it's taking so logn to get it confirmed. Just wondering if you are able to receive credit card payments directly?

Hi Ray,
I got a new subscription to the Patsystems version, and I want to unsubscribe to the IB Single edition. I thought this would be done automatically.
Can you do this please, so it doesn't keep charging my credit card?
Thanks.
