have downloaded and installed ninja trader.
upon opening it requires a license key.
the key received in my email elicits an error
i try the same key on the ninjatrader webpage download site only to get
" the ninjatrader license # you entered was not correct"
my referring broker confirms he is able to connect with this key.
i have tried with and with out the preceding @ charachter and the
trailing space to no avail. i have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times.
i have tried with firewall (actually the whole norton package) totally switched off.

i have .net 1.1, i have ms jet and v2.8 mdac. i have done as many windows updates
and reboots. i run win 2k, 1000m ram, 2.2m adsl broadband,

can anybody advise how to get this running?

Hi,

Thank youfor your note and interest in NinjaTrader.

Can you check your firewall settings. Turn them off and then re-enter the license under Help--> License Key.

Let me know if you get NinjaTrader up and running after doing this.

Have you tried entering the license manually? Otherwise in Norton, go to Personal Firewall, then select Configure--> Programs and locate NinjaTrader and set to 'Permit All'
