Hi,

I'd like to know if there is a difference from the NT point-of-view between a real-money account at IB, and a paper-money account at IB.

If so, exactly what is the difference and why?

What I'd like to do is to verify NT autotrading as functional all-the-way thru to IB without having real money on the line.

Thanks.

There is no difference from NT's perspective.

There is no difference from NT's perspective.OK, great. Thanks.

So can one connect to the IB paper-trade account with the free version, or is a subscription necessary?

You can trade the Sim101 account in NinjaTrader with IB data for free, but to connect to your IB paper trading account you would need to purchase a license.
