I am a Global Future customer and a MAN customer

I heard in the past, that it should be possible to have the TT (XTrader) feed with Ninja as front end

Do you confirm this?...if Yes how much it costs?

Globalfutures and Manhave X Trader.. I should be interested to switch from X Trader to Ninja

Your charting software is pretty good, and with the TT feed, I am sure it will work great

Can yougive mean accurate answerabout this question?

Anybody confirms that the ZEN FIRE ProvideDATA FEED onlyin theDome and not in the Ninja Charts?

The feed of Ninja Charts is from eSignal?

Thanks

Real time data for SuperDOM and Charts come from Zen-Fire. Historical data to back fill charts optionally can come from eSignal or any other data feed provider we support. As a free service we will be offering our own historical data from our market data server which is in beta.

I have heard that Zen-Fire offers unfiltered tick data and is faster than other data feeds.

Has anyone moved from PATS or any other data service to Zen-fire? If so, what are your observations? Thanks much.

I switched from Pats to Zen-Fire several months ago...I much prefer Zen...in Pats perhaps 70% +/- of ticks are filtered....with Zen you get 100% of the ticks....and they are fast. The tick charts in Zen are much more descriptive graphically, and technical studies for tick volume etc. are much more accurate...Zen is the way to go....no question.

Well...I had some problems with ZEN-FIRE when I tested them during the two weeks demo. The connection went down almosttwo times per day, and the quotes were updates with alarge delay in everyfast market conditions (i.e. after economic market data releases)

Yes, Zen is the way to go...but in the meantime your account could be at high risk

Really, I think they have a great potential to be the best feed engine for traders, but it seems they are still in BETA and the website is a ghost site

Anyway what is your broker since you don't have problems?

I tried alsoNinja with TT through Vcaps. Not bad, but not so fast. However, No problems with data feed

Just shared my experience

This is my experience with the Zen Fire feed.....I have not had a problem with Zen Fire going down in the 3 or so months I have used it....(there was one hitch a day or so after I started, but there have been none since).

Only very ocassionally there will be a hitch in my cable feed for a few seconds, and the seperate tick data stream I have to TradeStation will then be lost also....

I just do not see any problems with the Zen feed....with its speed, accuracyor consistancy.

Finally...it's my understanding that the Zen data comes directly to you from the Zen-Fireservers...so there should be no difference in the data from the different brokerswho offer this.

Thanks....

Can you subscribe to Zen Fire Data Feed directly or do you only get it through certain brokers? I am using Interactive Brokers and I do not want to change this right now. Could someone post a link to Zen Fire?

Thanks

I have an account with AMP Forex and am using a live data feed from them for my NT6. I now also want to add the ability to have a demo account Futures data feed from ZenFire through Mirus Futures, but there is NO Zen fire selection when I go to add this demo account in NT. Any suggestions?

Ben

Hello bologc,

I am able to connect to Zen-Fire on my end.

Please try recreating the Zen-Fire connection via Tools-->Account Connections.
http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/support_ZenFire.htm

Manually type in your username and password and check if the issue persists.

If so, please check for software, such as (corporate) firewalls, spyware and anti-virus software, that could be blocking the connection.

If the issue remains, please send me your Zen-Fire username and password, so I can create and test your connection on my end.

You can send them to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Please reference this forum thread and put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header.

Hello bologc,

Can you please contact your ISP and check if all is fine on their end.

We received some similar reports from Australian customers so far. We are able to connect to those connections on our end, which indicates something on the user's end is blocking the connection.

Since you already checked for software on your PC that could be blocking the connection, the ISP could be the cause.

A router could be causing the issue as well. Try connecting your PC directly to your modem, bypassing the router, and check if this will make a difference.

when contacting my ISP is there something in particular i should mention or check, the internet works fine besides the zenfire connection. Im with TPG internet

Unfortunately, I am not sure how exactly Zen-Fire connect to the internet.

NinjaTrader itself connects to standard web address via HTTP protocol through whatever port is defined for internet browsing on the target PC (Port 80 by default) in order to verify the license that is entered.

Connecting to a broker is dependent on the broker technology. You would need to ask this information from your broker.
