Hi there,

Please have a look at the following picture:

http://img110.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ntqueryps0.jpg (http://img110.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ntqueryps0.jpg)

For the purpose of explaining this error, I have Ninjatrader running a feed from Gain demo on two different computers. Both are displaying EUR/USD on a 10 second bar chart.

Two days ago everything was working fine but now for some reason the screen on the right hand side will not create a new bar every ten seconds
, but the screen on the left does. ie. the blue box on the left screen is equal to the blue box on the right, except for the amount of bars it displays .

It has nothing to do with data series as they are both set to 10 seconds, while historically (before the blue box on both screens) it displays the bars correctly (ie. 1 bar every 10 seconds).

Sometimes it self corrects this fault after 20 minutes and begins populating the chart correctly. I have tried re-installing the program several times but have not had any luck.

Do you have any idea what might be causing this?

Cheers

On the machine with the issue does it happen in a workspace or do you receive the same results with a fresh chart?

Are there any errors under the log tab?

Are both computers running the latest release, 6.5.1000.4?

Hi,

It happens every time a fresh chart is loaded. Previously I never used two computers for NT I just installed on the other one so I could have something to compare it against.

Are there any errors under the log tab?
There are no errors under the log tab, in fact the log for both computers is exactly the same.

Are both computers running the latest release, 6.5.1000.4?
Yes both computers are running the latest release. When this first occured I hadn't yet upgraded from the 6.5.1000.3.

Cheers

Ok I figured it out! my system clock runs a little slow and as such would take 20 or so minutes to catch up with the time of the feed on a new chart, after which time it would start plotting normally again!

Thanks.
