Hello,
Does NT V5 allow this kind of orders? I not familar with V5, the last one I used was V4, only for simulation though.
I would appreciate your reply.
Thanks,
Wally

Hello,
Thank you for your note.
Yes, we do support these kind of orders in v5 in the form of 'Stop Market' and 'Stop Limit' orders, which trigger when the specified price is touched. You can also customize these orders to trigger based on the bid/ask size of the market. More info regarding this feature can be found in our help guide at the following link: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/HelpGuide/Overview12.html
Thanks again for using NinjaTrader. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I am about to release a new system which can be best used with this kind of orders and was wondering if I could recommend NT for trading it. I guess the answer would be yes. I will look at your info.
Thanks again,
Wally

Wally,
Although Byron is correct in his reply, I suspect you might be looking for MIT orders where you place a MIT to buy below the current market? If this is correct, the current NT version does not support this order type. It is on our list for NT V6 due out later this summer.

Thanks, Ray.
Actually, I am more concerned about entry ordersbeing simply filled as opposed to missed because the market bounces at your entry point.
