Sim loses track of trades

How do I get out of this?

Sim is mismatching trade entry/exit.

Trader window shows flat, chart shows 4 contracts. Performance results now useless.

Go into Tools->Options->Simulator->Reset. Reset your Sim101 account. Bear in mind you will lose your trade record for that account.

Funny thing happened to me yesterday after I closed Ninja and reopened it, it opened a positioon in the Sim account and I had no open positions when I closed Ninjatrader.

I have unfortunately upgraded to the latest version of Ninja this weekend so I'm sure that this is related to this upgrade as I never had something that strange happened to me.

Good thing I wasn't conneted to my broker yet as I don't know if Ninja would do the same in my trading account.

I am now afraid of Ninjatrader and wil disconnect from my broker when I'm not in front of my PC and have no open trades.

I hope this bug will be fixed soon.

NT only would place orders are you trigger them manually or a working ATM strategy which recovered on reconnect places an order. Likely the latter happened.

To reset your sim account: Tools->Options->Simulator->Reset
To avoid this happening in future: Never acknowledge as NT notifies you on disconnect that you have running strategies, but close out any pending strategy.
