I'd like to run NT on a PC w/ Windows 2000 OS, just to record the tick data on some days when my main conputer is busy with other work.

However, NT will not load. (.NET is installed)
What else is needed to run NT on a Win2k system?

Win2000 is not officially supported. However, it "should" work. Please check the system requirements on the download page and make sure you have .NET 2.0 (!) installed.

Thanks, Dierk. I looked for system reqmts before asking but could not find them. Y'all hide them well - I had to dig out my license key to get to them. What's the logic behind that? :)

Minimum PC Requirements

Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows Server 2003
Minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768
Minimum P4 Processor or higher
1GB RAM or higher on XP and 2GB or higher on Vista
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (pre-installed on most PCs)

I used Win Pro 2000 with no hitches, but I had to download MDAC in addition to NET Framework.

Note: I use simple entries/exits like market orders and stop orders, so I do not know how other types of advanced orders would work.

Win 2000 and XP are really one in the same other than XP being more "enhanced".

Good Trading ~
