View Full Version : Unable to connect to TWS

I logged into TWS this morning without issue. Then after 30 minutes I was disconnected from IB and the connection did not automatically restart. I waited 15 minutes and finally shut down Ninja. After I brought Ninja back up, I tried repeatedly to log into IB TWS 856 today without success. I rebooted the computer & still could not connect.
I can send you the log if you need it.

Hi,
Can you tell me what the error message is when you try to log in.
Also check if TWS is still configured correctly. You can check from here:

And, yes, I do have the connection setup properly. I was trading & in the market when it disconnected.

I repaired that database as you requested. I tried to connect again without success. What do I do now?

I had to delete the database again this morning. Any progress on determining what the cause is?

I did not receive a private email.
As for what happened, same thing that always happens. I start up IB. I start up Ninja & try to connect. If I watch the log, it indicates that I have started to connect then it throws an error & disconnects. There is no recovery from this except close Ninja and delete the database.
I sent you one of my databases. Did you or the developer ever find something in the database that was causing the problem?
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
